Makers unite for Erie Makes! This event is for maker enthusiasts of all interests from robotics to art to 3D printing. Celebrate creativity, curiosity and hands-on learning! Try something new: pick up a make-and-take kit or attend one of our programs. This is a family-friendly, free event for curious minds. Below is the schedule of events. Wonders of Wood Working 9am-2pm (No Registration): Stop in anytime between 9am to 2pm at Lake Erie Woodworks for an open house tour of the workshop and demos of woodworking equipment. While you visit make a simple name sign using a CNC machine. Armando Reyes, woodworker and owner of Lake Erie Woodworks, will be around to answer any and all questions about woodworking and offer advice on projects or ideas you might have. Learn about the class offered in this space. All ages welcome!
Second Saturday: Treasure Day 10am-12:30pm (Registration Required): On the Second Saturday of every month, the Neighborhood Art House opens its doors for an interactive art lesson open to all ages! For our Second Saturday during Erie Makes, join us to paint and embellish a tiny treasure chest and learn how to create a hidden message with Morse Code jewelry! Register Here. All ages welcome!
